How to verify your objects are locked with Wasabi Object Lock?

Please see our KB for an overview of Wasabi Object Lock.

Verification of the Object Lock status on your objects can easily be done through the Wasabi Console.

1. Log in to the Wasabi Console, select the bucket with your files, and navigate to the file in question

In this example, we are using the 100MB.bin file to verify the Object Lock Status.

2. Click the "Show Versions" toggle on the top right to enable showing Object Versions

3. Clicking on a file will open the File Details window

In the File Details window, you can see the Object Locking status.

The 100MB.bin file is object locked with mode GOVERNANCE, the Retain Until date is set and has not been surpassed, and the Legal Hold status is Off.
